Experience Matters.

Quality Matters.

We need a property appraiser who understands that we need equitable tax rolls so that everyone pays their fair share. The Property Appraiser is one of the most important jobs in the county, making sure that our schools, law enforcement, and libraries are funded.

Ayesha is the most qualified candidate running and has the most experience to get this done.

Raised in East Gainesville

Ayesha grew up right here in East Gainesville in public housing, so she knows about the disparities in our community. She also knows how strong the community is there and that we all need to work to make sure that everyone has access to basic services, like the property appraiser’s office.

Worked Her Way Up

Ayesha started working in the Property Appraiser’s office eighteen years ago in customer service and exemptions. She worked her way up through multiple departments, earning promotions and learning the inner workings of each department.

Qualified and Certified

• Currently is the Administrative Manager for the Property Appraiser’s Office
• Almost two decades working in the Property Appraiser’s Office
• Certified Florida Evaluator
• Holds a current Florida Real Estate License
• Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems, Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management
• Will complete Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS) this summer, which is the highest certification for a property appraiser.

I’m running because I know how important a home is. I’m running because when our office runs effectively and efficiently so that people know how to use our services, more people get to keep their homes. We had an older woman in the office just last week who was losing her home because of back taxes and within minutes, we realized she had just filed the wrong exemptions and she got to keep her house. These are the people that are important to me and this is why I’m running. On August 18th, I hope to have your vote.
